Custard Steamed Buns

Ingredients
  • 125 milliliters Milk (Warm)
  • 25 grams Sugar
  • 3 grams Yeast
  • 220 grams Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 20 milliliters Oil
Instructions
  1. Mix the Milk, Sugar, and Yeast together

  2. Mix in the Flour, Salt, and Baking Powder

    Mix with hands once it gets thick
  3. Cover in Oil and knead until mixed in

  4. Transfer to flat surface and knead some more. About 5 minutes

  5. Divide into 8 pieces and roll each piece into a ball

  6. Flatten into a circle and place Custard in the center

  7. Close the dough by pinching the edges into each other then smooth it out into a ball

  8. Place each completed ball on parchment paper and let stand for 12 minutes

  9. Steam on Medium for 10 minutes and wait 3 minutes before removing from steamer
